Hiking Guided Tour
The hiking tour starts from the scenic beach of Agia Kyriaki and the remnants of a Roman harbor, reminiscence of the destructive power of natural processes. The path will continue through a multi-colored extraterrestrial landscape, hot grounds with active fumaroles and dunes formed by the lapilli from the explosive eruptions of Fyriplaka volcano.
We'll go to the highest point of the huge caldera, to admire breathtaking views of the island and learn interesting aspects about volcanic geology. Further down we'll cross the volcanic dome through steaming grounds and tunnels and descent the slopes of Cape Kalamos for a swimming experience in the natural spa of the hot springs of Kanava.

The tour will cover approx. 5Km, 200m elevation in 4 hrs.

Two departures per day, at 10:00 a.m. or 4:45 p.m.
